Yes, Texas has remote online notarization (RON) laws allowing notaries to perform notarization in a secure online manner: an innovative way to perform the notarization of persons within Texas and elsewhere without having to meet in person with a notary.
How to notarize something online in Texas? arrow
The authorized RON platform must be used to notarize documents electronically in Texas. Upload the document to the online platform first, then you must provide proof of your identity with a government-issued ID and also pass a knowledge-based authentication.
